Thruxton - 28 - 30 MAY
Originally built in 1940 as RAF Thruxton, it was decommissioned in 1946 and from 1950 it was used for motorsport. Motorcycling was the first sport to be staged there, with four-wheeled racing commencing from 1952. Thruxton is one of the fastest circuits on the British Superbike calendar and one that has hosted events as varied as World Endurance motorcycles, European F2 cars and trucks. The demands of the circuit range from the long, fast straights and flowing corners to tight, demanding Complex and Chicane sections. For tickets to this event

KNOCK HILL - 17 - 19 JUNE
Knockhill Racing Circuit in Fife is Scotland's national Motorsport centre. The circuit is located in the countryside about 10 miles north of Dunfermline. The track, initially opened in 1974, is 1.3 miles long and was created by joining service roads to a nearby disused railway. Since the 1980s Knockhill has been extensively developed to a point where it is able to host rounds of most of the major British car and motorcycle racing championships. Today Knockhill offers a range of motorsport facilities in addition to the original circuit, including an off-road track and rally stage.

SNETTERTON 300 - 01 - 03 JUL
The XR1200 round at Snetterton is one of the fastest on the calendar. Lots of slipstreaming followed by heavy braking means that there are always plenty of overtaking opportunities at Snetterton. For sheer speed the long Revett Straight provides amazing slip-streaming action prior to the left-right flick through the Esses and the Bomb Hole where extensive works have been carried out in terms of run-off area. Major investments have been made in the facilities for both competitors and spectators under the progressive management of the MotorSport Vision group.

OULTON PARK - 15 - 17 JUL
With a long sporting tradition on both two and four wheels this picturesque circuit has staged some of the great motorsport events with the Grand Prix stars of the day riding in TransAtlantic Challenge motorcycle races and Gold Cup car action. Full of challenges it has also provided some of the more controversial - not forgetting some of the best - moments in British Superbike action. Refinements and added run-off areas have made for safer action. Tight and twisty, this is a circuit of character which also has long fast straights. Knickerbrook and the final Lodge Corner leading to Deer Leap are key sections.

BRANDS HATCH - 05 - 07 AUG
The circuit was initially used for grass-track racing prior to being surfaced in 1950 and rapidly being transformed into one of the country's leading circuits. Brands Hatch graduated to host the first of its 14 F1 World Championship Grand Prix races in 1964. Subsequently it has hosted the inaugural round of the A1GP 'World Cup of Motorsport' Series. On two wheels the World Superbike Championship has attracted enormous crowds to Kent.

CADWELL PARK - 27 - 29 AUG
Nestling in undulating Lincolnshire countryside this picturesque circuit always attracts the biggest crowd of the Superbike year. It is a tight, narrow and twisting circuit which offers riders little room for error. It has real character, with the bikes momentarily airborne as they crest the 'Mountain' section. Over the years, it has seen many of motorcycle racing's greats in action, and continues to provide one of the major challenges for the competitors in the fight for the British crown.

DONINGTON PARK - 09 - 11 SEP
Donington Park first opened its gates in 1931, initially for motorcycle racing and then two years later for car action. The circuit went on to stage Grand Prix for both motorcycles and cars in the pre-war era. Donington was subsequently re-built and re-opened in 1977 and staged the British Motorcycle Grand Prix annually or more than two decades. Among other accolades, Donington Park staged the first ever round of the World Superbike championship, as well as holding the F1 Grand Prix of Europe in 1993. In the past four years the circuit has been resurfaced, while the pit complex, race control, media building and timekeepers' offices have recently been completely rebuilt in a £5million development.
